Cancellation policy

Cancel before shipment

You may cancel your preorder for a full refund at any time before your order is handed to the shipping carrier. Creating a label or preparing a package does not mean your order has shipped.

How to request cancellation

Email info@beckleybenjamin.com with the subject “Cancel my Built to Last preorder,” your order or receipt number, and the name and email used for the purchase. Your request must be received before the order is handed to the carrier.

Your refund

For an eligible cancellation, we will promptly refund the full amount paid for the canceled order, including the book price, prepaid shipping, and applicable tax, to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider determines when the refund appears in your account.

After shipment

Once your order has been handed to the shipping carrier, it cannot be canceled. If your order arrives damaged, is incorrect, or does not arrive, please contact us for assistance. This policy does not limit any rights provided by applicable law.

Dispatch and shipping estimates

Preorders are scheduled for dispatch on November 15, 2026. Carrier delivery estimates begin after dispatch. Initial shipping quotes use projected packaging for a 6 × 9 inch, approximately 227-page printed book. The shipping amount you approve at checkout will not be increased later without your consent.

If dispatch is delayed

If we cannot ship by the stated date, we will notify you and offer a choice to accept the revised shipping date or cancel for a full refund.
